2024. 10. 6.-11. 3.
Craft Elixirs
It was so fun to see my ocean paintings under the blue disco light! It felt like there is a party under the sea, and my babiea are the part of it! I am so happy for them, that they can be in this environment for one month, witnessing a lot of happy moments, feeling the energy of the party. And I hope everyone can feel the energy of these paintings as well. I think they are great party decorations!
Not just my paintings, but I too felt like the part of the party! I had my merch table, I prepared some new goods, and mistery bags with some suprises. I was so happy that all the guests of the event seem to like the art, and were interested in my inspirations. I had some pleasant chats about the okinawan nature with everyone who came to my table, I was honored to tell everyone about the inspiration behind their favourite paintings and I was happy to tell everone about all the friends I made in nature!
That is the purpose of my work! The purpose of my life!
To introduce you all the friends I made in nature.
To tell you all the stories they have been telling me.
And I am grateful for all the oppurtunities I get to do so!
Aaaand whenever I felt tired from all the talking, I could go to the bar, freshen up with some great energy boost coctails! My favourite was the Dinosaur Potion!
It was such a delightful event, such a great experience, I had a great time meeting all kinds of interesting people!
I have left some merch under the Sagaribana tree, for all you folks who can stop by in October to Shikina Yasufo to have a drink with my buddies, cheers to the amazing nature of Okinawa!!!
I wanna give a shoutout to two special paintings, that I haven’t exhibited in Okinawa…
I painted them before I moved here. They are from those times when my body was still far away, but my heart was already captured by the ocean…
One of them represents the freedom that I felt in the ocean, and the other one connects to an experience of being trapped. I felt these two feelings on the same day at Okinawa. This is a story for an other time...perhaps I can tell you about it sipping a Dinosaur Potion at Shikinone.
Are you interested?
I will tell you about it soon...
